The figures below shows GardenCAD software in action. Note in the first figure, the use of layers to separate various parts of the design and in the second, a complex symbol representing a tree with extensive extensive hatch patterning. In these examples, to make the designs stand out, we have set the screen background to white. In the previous exercise, you were working with the background set to black - which we recommend as it is much kinder on the eyes.
